Omega has a tight relationship with the Olympics, where timing is crucial. It began back in 1932 at the Los Angeles Games, Omega was the first company entrusted with the official timekeeping of all the categories at the games. Omega utilized stop watches and chronographs manufactured by its subsidiary Lemania. Since then Omega was a pioneer in cutting edge time keeping in the field of sports.
It is little wonder that Omega has the edge in sports watches.
