Hublot has chosen the historic Italian Race Car Circuit - Autodromo di Monza - to unveil its Formula One Luxury Watch. It is no wonder Hublot has chosen this particular circuit as it is the fastest circuit on the F1 calendar.
The energy powering the Hublot King Power Formula 1 Monza is an original in-house skeletonized Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph movement. Original, because of the new skeletonization of the movement which allows for complete scrutiny of the movement. A sapphire crystal plate beneath the dial enhances the perception of depth. In addition, components comprised of cutting edge materials such as 48mm micro blasted black ceramic case; micro blasted black ceramic bezel with molded black rubber and 6 relief black PVD H-shaped titanium screws; carbon fiber bridge; tungsten carbide rotor (3 times tougher than steel); PVD titanium screws, black PVD titanium crown (with rubber inserts), black composite resin bezel lug and lateral inserts all add to the extreme resiliency of the timepiece. The watch strap is made of Nomex which is a fire retardant material - the same material used to make the race car driver suits. Red stitching on the side of the watch band compliments the bold red hand and hour indicators.
The furiously red hands are micro blasted red with white SuperLumonova thus enabling time display in the dark. Other features include a water resistancy of up to 100 meters and a power reserve of 42 hours.
A metal plated Formula One Logo is located at the 9 'o'clock.
Hublot has crafted the perfect watch in color, style, function and precision to represent a motor sport watched by millions.
