Who will win the Ladies' Watch Category of the Gran Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve

Competition is fierce and the watches are bedazzling. Impeccable craftsmanship, superb functionality and heart stopping aesthetics are just a few aspects portrayed by the watches of the Ladies' Watch Category at the Gran Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve.

My favorite in this category is the Odyssey Lady Skeleton by Clerc. I love the combination of pink gold and titanium of the case. The dainty skeletonization of the watch is analogous to an intricate sculpture set high on the facade of a building, and yet the obvious attention to the minutest detail is like the perfections of nature. Wesselton VVS diamonds perfectly set on case and dial add subtle grace to this haute joaillerie watch. Hands and hour markers are gracefully fashioned from 18kt gold diamond. A bold 12 and 6 command attention and complete the look. Although alligator straps are available for this watch, I love the look of the soft satin strap.
Movement is automatic mechanical movement with a 42 hour power reserve.
This watch ,manufactured in 2009, is a well known and much admired addition to the Clerc Collection of fine haute joaillerie timepieces.
